How to record remote side Skype video only?

Sometimes, we only need to record the remote side Skype video only, but only Ecamm and Evaer Skype recorder support recording remote Skype video only feature. I will show you how to do that using Evaer for Skype.

Step 1, Download latest Evaer Skype recorder from the website https://www.evaer.com/download.htm

Step 2, Install Evaer and run it.  Then change the video recording mode to “Remote video only” option as below image shown.

Step 3, Start a Skype call to record it using Evaer call recorder.  It will record the remote side Skype video only as you set.

We have added new feature – Skype Screencast video recording mode at the most recent Evaer for Skype version.

The new feature can record everything which you are doing on Skype.  Such as video, chat message and voice.  You just need to click the “Start recording” button to start the Skype Screencast recording with/without a Skype call.

If you don’t want to use the Screencast mode to record your Skype, the below Skype video recording mode also supported with latest Skype 8.34.

Available Skype video recording modes:

1, Separate video files.

2, Side by side – Landscape.

3, Side by side – Portrait.

4, Picture in picture.

5, Remote Skype video only.

6, Local Skype video only.

Record Skype calls directly from audio devices

Recently, we added new feature to record Skype calls‘ sound directly from audio devices.  That you can get the clear sound when you recording Skype calls.

To enable this feature, you only need to enable the “Capture from audio devices” option as below image shows, then select the audio device you want to use, and then click the “Apply” button to save your settings.

Now, it will record directly from the audio device when you record a new Skype call.

Preview the output video while recording Skype video calls

We recently released a new version Evaer video recorder for Skype.

Preview the output video while recording Skype video calls – It means “What You See Is What You Get”,  that you can see the video call recording result immediately without waiting for the end of the recording.  To preview your video when you recording the Skype call that just need to turn on the “Enable video preview when recording video streams” option at Evaer Advanced settings.

Record Lync contacts audio and video calls from Skype 7.0

Skype just released the most recent version 7.0, Skype users can now video call their Skype contacts on Lync, and vice versa!    In the meantime, the latest Evaer 1.6.2.52 start support the latest Skype 7.0.  You are able to record the audio and video calls with Lync contacts now.  And the below video recording modes also support recording Lync video calls.
